"It's not just a tour, it's an adventour"
Island Adventours was established on Kelleys Island in 2017. Owner/operator Dawn Soldner retired from her professional life to her long time Kelleys Island home. Eco tours provided by nature enthusiast and former educator are sure to please you and your family. She takes pride in sharing her passion for Kelleys Island and its rich heritage and beauty.
Whether you're looking for an afternoon excursion in the woods, the quarries, or out on Lake Erie, we've got the gear and expertise to help you explore. Or if you just want to have a relaxing tour to learn about the nature or history of the island, we can provide that for you as well. Our goal is to help you and your group enjoy your time on Kelleys Island.
Why are we considered eco tours? We have a leave-no-trace policy; low impact on the environment is our first priority. Tour participants are encouraged to appreciate the natural state of the island, and enjoy without harm. Our tours all include some education on the natural and social history of the Island. Island Adventours' staff participate in the KI historical association and Audubon society activities on Kelleys Island. IA sponsors the Kayak Poker Paddle which benefits Lake Erie Association.
